HE Chöje Ayang Rinpoche Canada 2010

H.E. Chöje Ayang Rinpoche is 71 years old, and one of the two pre-eminent exponents of Drikung Kagyu Phowa practice alive today (the other being HE Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche).     Dear Dharma brothers and sisters,and Tibetan Buddhism seekers and most especially anyone who has yet to meet His Excellence Chöje Ayang Rinpoche and learn at His feet, I greet you well and wish you great happiness always.

    His Excellence Chöje Ayang Rinpoche is an indescribably brilliant teacher and has a wonderfully charismatic way of endowing Empowerments and giving Dharma Teachings.

    I was privileged to attend his visits to Edmonton and to Vancouver last Septenmber. His travel schedule is amazingly extensive and demonstrates His selfless loving kindness in bringing Dharma into the hearts and minds of westerners.

    He cheerfully admits that he has received no formal training in the English language and the “…little He knows, has been obtained by listening to the translators at other teachings, given by other High Lamas”. In my most humble opinion, as an immigrant to Canada from England, I find both His vocabulary and use of English are remarkable; perhaps He learned the language in an earlier lifetime?

    He is universally renowned as the Lineage Master of Phowa teachings in the oral transmission tradition.

    l have nothing but love and admiration of His Excellence and dedicate my accumulated merit to Him so that He may continue to guide all living beings to excellent rebirths for many eons.

    I am very curious to know Rinpoche’s schedule for teaching Powa in 2011. Does any one have an idea of his schedule? Wwe are anxiously awaiting………..
