Ryan Gauvin’s Tibet photos

Ryan Gauvin is a Vancouver-based photographer with a BA in Geography from Simon Fraser University, and an MFA in Documentary Media from Ryerson University. His recent collection, A Hard Path – Tibetan occupation and exile, is now viewable on his website. Ryan has partnered with the International Campaign for Tibet, and was recognized for his work in Tibet at the 2009 New York Photo Awards and 2009 PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris.

    Those stunning grey scale photos really shows how serious the inspiration was, really caught my eye. The views, and the usual scene that we usually encounter on the street. Amazing how such photos represents what had happened, tragic indeed.
