			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In our pluralistic Canadian society, we have to opportunity to model successful inter-faith dialogue. Globally, we are witnessing multiculturalism on the defensive while governments struggle with fundamentalism&#8217;s strident propaganda in a post-nationalist age. So it is always heartening to see events such as the Multi-Faith Saskatoon annual general meeting, discussing the challenges inherent to their mission.</p>
<p>Among this year&#8217;s participants was Professor James Mullens, from the Department of Religion and Culture at the University of Saskatchewan, is a practicing Buddhist. Mullen teaches courses on Comparative Religion and Religion and Non-violence.</p>
